my AFK welcomes the House of Commons Education Committee’s new report “Special Educational Needs and Disabilities”, released today.

In March 2019, two young people from my AFK went to the House of Commons to provide evidence on SEND.

Today, The Education Committee published its First Report of Session 2019-20, on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

The report examines issues of accountability and oversight of all those involved in the provision of SEND support, and makes recommendations relating to the rights of children and parents, post-16 support and the role of health providers.
