Every two weeks, our trainees visit our local partner Co-Op in Crouch End. They practise a variety of skills, including money handling, shopping, communication and organisation.
They then head back to the office using the ingredients, kindly donated by Co-Op, to make staff lunches and practise their food handling skills as part of their Amazingly Funky Kitchen Project!
Their menus including- Greek Salads, Jacket Sweet Potatoes, Eggs Benedict and Toasties.
Co-Op have also chosen my AFK (Action For Kids) as their local cause for their community give back scheme, which donates up to 1% every time you shop with them. For more details head to theirĀ website.
