AFK | The Beach is back!
AFK Beach Volleyball is back!
After a break of 4 long years, AFK Beach Volleyball is making a welcome return to Canary Wharf!
Once again we are turning Canary Wharf into a summer oasis with two full sized volleyball courts and 200 tonnes of sand to help raise vital funds for children and young people with disabilities.
The courts will be open to all with pay-to-play sessions so you can brush up on your skills in the sand or challenge your friends and colleagues to some friendly lunchtime competition. This year will also see the return of the Beach Volleyball Championships where teams from across the Wharf will battle it out against one another to be in with the chance of being crowned Canary Wharf Champions.

***Booking a court costs £12.50 per person per hour and this gives you sole use of the court and volleyballs. You need at least 4 players so booking is set at a £50 deposit. You then pay the balance for the full number of participants at your session.

Enter a team in the AFK Charity Championships
Thursday 21st September 2023. 10am-6pm. Teams of 5 vs 5 but you can have a larger squad to sub on and off and help with the fundraising. Team entry fee / donation / sponsorship target is £1500 per team. For this you get a full day of play, lunch on the day and the chance to win some fun prizes or get your name on the trophy.

SideOut Beach Volleyball Club’s popular All You Can Play session comes to Canary Wharf. Come and join us between 6-8pm for some social beach volleyball. Individuals and all levels welcome.

Unwind and have a tonne of fun at our chilled out, no pressure beach volleyball evening social in the heart of Canary Wharf. Come make new friends, donate to a great cause, network, play some volleyball and relax as the music plays to the sun setting in the background. With food and refreshing drinks available for purchase, this unique experience is only here for a short period of time and is not to be missed.

Available to those participating in the Championship Event to get some sneaky practice in ahead of the tournament on 21st September and any other beach volleyball enthusiasts. With a range of amazing coaches available, contact us to book in a 60/90minute long session suited to your needs.
Open Court Hire
The courts will be open to all with pay-to-play sessions, so you can brush up on your skills in the sand or challenge your friends and colleagues to some friendly competition. Court bookings will be available on a first come first served basis at just £12.50 per person per hour.
Weekend concessions
Courts available 12pm-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays for hire or turn up and play.
